My serum education just expanded! I completed a whole course on serums and now can’t wait to try all the new versions! I was limited in my thinking that serums were just blends of oils and additives to help your skin!
Don’t get me wrong – I absolutely LOVE using a toner and serum after my showers every day! Now, there’s options for lightening the serum up with hydrosols, thickeners to make it more of a gel feel and a little oil (like in this one) to make an emulsion that is simply like the consistency of a very light lotion!
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is the active ingredient star which seems to be all the rage these days! It’s great for adding and keeping moisture locked into our skin and also has a plumping effect so it works great as an anti-aging ingredient. I’ve not been disappointed with any of the products I’ve made with Niacinamide!
This fluffy, creamy serum is lighter than the oils-only serums and comes in a 1 oz serum pump dispenser for easy application.
Ingredients: Lavender Hydrosol, Glycerin, Olivem 1000 (thickener/emulsifier), Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Willow Bark extract (active), Grapeseed oil, Evening Primrose oil, Raspberry Seed oil, Radiant Orchid fragrance oil, Vitamin E (antioxidant) and Geogard ECT (preservative).
